Over the 2010 January to March term we will be looking at the following themes:
The morning services centre mostly on Luke’s Gospel following the lectionary Epiphany/Ordinary Time themes until Lent. Then during Lent we will look at the theme of Christian disciplines under the heading “spiritual fitness.”
The evening services, after a long didactic series on spiritual warfare, mostly from the N.T. epistles, will focus on narrative passages on encounters with God, mostly in the O.T. up till Lent. Thereafter, there will be some reflection on Isaiah’s suffering servant in the run up to Passiontide.
