Position within the Church: Childrens work co-ordinator.
How long have you been a Christian? Since 2003.
Briefly, how and why did you become a Christian? My life was a mess, dry and empty. I picked up a small bible, an old one from school , inside it said “if you are worried” read Matthew Chapter 6 verse 25 to 34. So I did. At the end of the passage it read, “First, seek His Kingdom and all these things shall be given to you.” So I started to seek and he met me. I have learnt so much along the way with Jesus. He also says, “My son (in this case daughter), do not despise the LORD’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son ( daughter) he delights in.”
What are your hobbies and interests? I love seeking and being in the presence of the Lord. Having fun with friends, Cinema, meeting new exciting people.
Do you have any family who attend church? My Husband and children also attend this church. My parents in law attend church in Chesterfield.
What are your aspirations for All Saints’ Church for the next 12 months? To be working in the Fullness of Christ. To see healings all the time. For new people coming to seek God. To be totally desperate and needing God, to the point where we don’t care what people think of us or how we may we look to others. To recognise we need total dependence on God even more so than we think we already do.
What are your long-term desires for All Saints’ Church? Overflowing.
Finally, what has been the best advice/guidance that somebody has given you as a Christian? To Know Jesus for yourself.
